About Me
I’ve been passionate about photography for more than 30 years. As a teenager my father had an old Linhof field camera and the classic texts by Ansel Adams; I soon picked up the Zone System and have been hooked ever since.
I lived in the US for 6 years, based in Philadelphia and New York, from 2001 to 2007. I fullfiled a lifelong dream by visiting Yosemite twice, the great National Parks of the Western United States, as well as the coast of New England, and the Deep South.
I work primarily in large format silver gelatin, with Tachihara 8x10 and Ebony 4x5 field cameras. I also shoot 120 rollfim with a Hasselblad 501CM. When shooting digital I use a Leica Q2.
I now live in Sydney, Australia in the northern suburb of St Ives.
